Safety Matters

All Teams are reminded to please go through the Safety Matters and Event Safety Plan. The Organizers will provide all the necessary safety coverage but remember, Safety still begins with you first. More details

Transportation

Contrary to the arrangement made in the Team Manager's Briefing and due to strong feedback, the free SMRT Shuttle Bus Service will now serve BOTH Marina Bay MRT and Tanjong Pagar MRT Stations for BOTH the morning & afternoon peak hour time slots.

In between the peak hour timing, please use the PUB-run shuttle bus service (non-SMRT buses) which operate only between Marina Bay MRT Station and Marina Barrage.

A draw for the allocation of racing lanes and dragon boats will also be conducted.

However if you are unable to attend the briefing, we would appreciate it if you could send a representative.

We would appreciate it if you could check thru your teams' participation in the events are correct.

If we do not received any reply from your organization by Friday, 12th June 2009, we would presume that your entries are correct

Announcement 2 (22 May 2009)

To All SDBA Affiliates:

In response to popular demand to insert the Inter-Business Houses & Clubs category into the Singapore Dragon Boat Festival 2009, the Organizing Committee have agreed to the suggestion.

As such, the Inter-Business Houses & Clubs category will now be open to interested affiliates who meet the participation requirements. Attached herewith are the updated Entry Rules and Registration Form.

Please be reminded that the closing date for registration 1st June 2009.

We are pleased to inform you that the Singapore Dragon Boat Association and the People’s Association will jointly organized Singapore Dragon Boat Festival 2009 at the Marina Barrage on 27th June 2009 and 28th June 2009

The distance of the race is 800 meters.
