Please advice your crew members to report to the Registration Official one hour before the start of your event on 12th April 2008, Saturday.

Time: 3:00 pm
Venue: SDBA Admin Office 659 Stadium Road

The briefing will be conducted by Mr Louis Lim, Vice-President (SDBA).

A draw for the allocation of racing lanes and dragon boats will also be conducted.

If you are unable to attend the briefing, we would appreciate it if you could send a representative.

We are pleased to inform you that the Singapore Dragon Boat Association will be organizing the 8th National Schools’ Dragon Boat Championship 2008 at the Bedok Reservoir on 12th April 2008, Saturday from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm.

What is Dragon Boating?

• It is not an individual sport but a Team sport.
• No experience or skills are needed to begin with.
• Very moderate health and physique for a start.
• Takes a very short time to master a paddling stroke.
• What counts is the synchronization of paddling strokes (doing together at the same time).

Please note the following:

• Secondary Schools / Junior Colleges will have to book and pay for their training sessions.
• No free training sessions will be given to any participating teams.
• There will be no participation fees.
